Juno's Weekend!

Sit back, relax, download this Junos Mix and then live vicariously through my crazy weekend!

So I am ashamed to admit I have never watched the Junos. Yeah, yeah, yeah they are Canadian and bla dee bla, but seriously? There is only so much Chad Kroeger a girl can take, and that is NONE. But alas! The Junos found me! All my music friends came to town and we had some pretty epic parties. I have to give a big love hug to my pals in the stills for finally getting some snobby canadian award love!

It was a four days of madness and I don't know if my hangover will ever go away. I wish the Junos were here every year!

So Friday afternoon was the Nettwerk music party, I wore bright pants and somehow made it into a magazine.... Vitamin Daily You see? IT'S ALL IN THE PANTS!

The food sucked, I got drunk with the guy from barenaked ladies and then photocopied my face in the main office.

Big-ups to Kenny at Redbull for the first bit of party mayhem we threw at the Redbull Office later that night. I deejayed and warmed up the liver then we took it to Opus, which always gets a bit blurry for me. Here's me looking not drunk...

The next night we accosted the Opus again for a private party that had some sort of Tequila fountain and these delicious prawns on spoons that also had tequila, TEQUILA!

Junos Day I deejayed for 5 flipping hours in the Loeden Artist Sanctuary, holy jesus.

The bar actually ran out Grey Goose and I never thought I'd be happy about something like that but I was, because after 5 hours of straight deejaying I start thinking it's funny to play S club 7 and challenge people to jump off of couches and make the big 'S' with their arms.

I then rushed home and threw on my sweet ass Juno's pants! Ran out the door to go set-up at the big Juno's afterparty at Storyeum.
Somehow I even managed to make it onto the Style by Fire Top Ten Best Dressed list. WOAH! I can never dress myself! my socks never match! WTF?!

This party was epic, I played to over 1200 people...

And all the proceeds went to my idol... David Suzuki!

Then we played out the rest of the night in the Jager Rock room.....
